Pupils' Rights
The Education Law Unit strive to make pupils' rights a reality, in particular, for disabled pupils and pupils with special educational needs.
One of the ways we do this is by increasing the awareness of pupils' rights through our training programmes for teachers, parents' groups and others. We also provide advice on general matters of education law and individual cases through our national Education Law Helpline (0141 445 1955) or by e-mail on advice@edlaw.org.uk. In appropriate cases we can provide legal representation, or advocacy, for pupils and/or parents.
