On 30 June 2006, Govan Law Centre’s Education Law Unit brought Scotland’s first Court action under the ASL Act to a successful conclusion. This serves to underline the fact that, as the Act begins to take effect, the number of parental challenges is rising. This seminar will explore what goes into a successful challenge, and what authorities can do to avoid them.
The seminars will be delivered by those with experience of bringing and resolving disputes under the Act: solicitors, mediators, advocates and decision makers.
